What You Should Consider Before You Purchase A Movie Editing Program

If you have come to the decision that you are going to make your own movie you should consider a few things first in your pre-production stage of creating your first movie.

First you need to consider how you are going to write your script. If you are not keen on writing or do not think you can handle the task of writing your own script you could actually hire someone to do it for you or you could even use a option script, which is purchasing a script that is already written from someone else. The cheapest way of course and the best way to stay within your budget is to write it yourself.

The second thing you need to consider is finding actors and crew members that will help you to keep your cost to a minimal amount and you can do this by asking your friends and family to assist in helping out with setting up the equipment, utilizing whatever movie editing program that you decide to use, and also in acting in your film. I am sure they would be motivated to act in your film since they might have a chance to get noticed in your film if it ever became famous.

The third thing that you need to consider is deciding where you are going to shoot your film. This really does not have to be that difficult, this can actually be done right in your back yard if you want to. Setting up your equipment in different areas in your back yard can make your feature film look like it was filmed in various locations. You can also consider filming in a public park just check with your local authority to make sure that a permit is not required.

The fourth thing you want to consider is where your cameras and equipment are going to come from. Since this is your first film and you are trying to stay within a budget you might want to consider using a video camera to film your first movie but if you want a more professional look you might want to invest in a movie camera. If you visit stores that sell the equipment that you might need, and explaining to them what you are doing, maybe they might be willing to lend or rent the equipment to you for a reasonable price as long as they get some free advertisement on your feature film.

These are some of the things you should consider before you actually go out and purchase a movie editing program because it will help you to analyze what you want to do in each area of your film making and it will also give you a general idea of what kind of equipment and editing programs to purchase in order to achieve the greatest result.
